Maintains Hospital’s internal, on-line incident reporting system, including review of all reported incident; request follow-up from hospital staff; participation in investigation of incidents; track and trend identified areas of concern; compilation of reports/data for Quality Excellence Council an for mandated NYPORTS reporting.
Assists Risk Manager with interaction between defense counsel, insurance company, insurance broker and other interested parties in litigation matters.
Assist Risk Manager in review and necessary edits to Hospital policies and procedures.
Current New York State RN License, healthcare experience preferred.
Strong working Knowledge of legal system.
Strong clinical experience, knowledge and background.
Analytical skills for reviewing medical records, conducting medical research.
