  • Overview

    **Schedule:  8 hour shift (including 6am-2pm and 11am-7pm) every other weekend plus one day during the week**   The cooks are responsible for all preparation and cooking of foods for patient and cafeteria service using industrial food production methods following DOH guidelines; maintaining a professional and orderly work environment; cleaning and sanitizing work area as needed; producing desired meals quickly and efficiently within designated time frames.


    Able to stand for 80-90% of the workday and lift 50 lbs; experienced in food production; must be able to follow standardized recipes and use thermometer.


    High school diploma or equivalency in order to follow written work assignments, read recipes, and maintain records; food handler certificate preferred; culinary arts degree or high volume cooking experience strongly preferred.
