  • Overview

    Runs food service shifts and supervises nutritional aides in a busy kitchen setting, schedules daily assignments, maintains quality assurance logs, and supports the cleanliness of the kitchen; checks the tray line at every meal and ensures late trays are brought up in a timely manner; responsible for opening and closing the kitchen. Shifts are 6am-2pm and 11:30am-7:30pm.


    Excellent managerial skills, knowledge of patient food service and DOH regulations, and ability to stand 60-70% of the workday; expert communication skills required to effectively speak to staff, patients, and administrators.



    High School diploma, 120 hour Food Service Manager Certificate or equivalent, Management experience preferred
