Nurse Practitioners (NPs) provide medical services under the supervision of licensed physicians. The NP shall be permitted to provide service within his/her scope of training/skills delegated by the supervising physician, collaborating physician, or the patient’s physician that has been approved by the Credentials Committee and is within the scope of practice of the supervising physician.
The Pre-Admission Testing nurse practitioner (NP) who in collaboration with the patient's physicians, assists is providing high-quality care. The Pre-Surgical Testing NP is a member of the Medical Affairs Department. Nurse Practitioner in Pre-Admission Testing performs a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for the admission of patients, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and outcome evaluation.
