    Responsibilities

    This position performs: psychiatric assessments; medication evaluations, administration, and monitoring; treatment plan team meetings.

    Qualifications

    Applicant must possess a Masters degree in Nursing and a current license to practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in NYS. DEA Certificate required. Extensive experience with the Behavioral Health population a must. Applicant must possess: knowledge and ability to implement and assess clinical, educational, and operational processes and outcomes; analytical ability to assess and develop solutions to complex clinical situations and/or area problems; analytical ability necessary to interpret and enforce policies and procedures, provide direction and manage efficient staff levels; leadership skills that demonstrate effective management of the area including successful interactions with staff, patients and visitors.
